Rogers Unveils MuchPhone Prepaid Cell Phones

Rogers Wireless has teamed with MuchMusic to offer an exclusive mobile package to young Canadians who want to stay connected to the excitement of MuchMusic culture and content.

The new MuchMusic Edition Pay-As-You-Go Phone ("MuchPhone") launches nationally on November 9th, featuring an exclusive prepaid wireless package that enables customers to personalize their wirelessdevice from a wide range of MuchPhone's preloaded graphics, ringtones, games and special features - plus the benefit of can't-get-it-anywhere-else content available direct from MuchMusicEdition HQ, and the freedom of the Pay-As-You-Go plan.

With their MuchPhone handsets, customers can now access content including the day's latest concert, album, and artist buzz, as well as live VJ and program updates direct from MuchMusic's famed Toronto studio. In addition, they can enjoy premium applications exclusive to MuchPhone from Rogers Wireless including 'TuneTracker' - enabling the wireless device to "listen" and identify a song, then send the title and artist information in a text message back to the customer - and 'MuchMixFactory' - an application allowing customers to create their own custom ringtones, right from the MuchPhone menu.
