Fido Nokia E62 with BlackBerry Connect Arrives

Fido and Nokia announced the availability of the Nokia E62 equipped with BlackBerry Connect. Fido customers will have access to the Nokia E62 device and the BlackBerry Internet Service that comes with it.

With voice, data and enhanced Web browsing capabilities, the Nokia E62 was designed with the young, urban status seeker in mind. BlackBerry Connect software works seamlessly with the built-in applications on the device, so Fido customers on the go can now benefit from the BlackBerry Internet Service, which allows them to easily access up to 10 supported corporate and personal e-mail accounts (including most ISP e-mail accounts) from a single device.

The device boasts a full QWERTY keyboard and the largest PDA screen on the market, with a 2.8-inch, 16-million colour display, making for easy viewing and editing of documents that just can't wait, especially when you are away from the office. Voice features include up to five hours of talk time and up to 14 days of standby time, speakers offering superior sound quality, and five-way conference calling - all on a device that keeps you connected almost anywhere in the world with its EDGE network capabilities and quad-band (GSM 850/900/1800/1900) frequencies. While waiting at the airport, you can access on-the-go entertainment with the handset's built-in MP3 player, video player, and game applications like Golf Pro 2.
