QUALCOMM uiOne Interface for US Cellular

QUALCOMM announced an agreement with U.S. Cellular for customized user interface support based on QUALCOMM's uiOne solution. Deploying uiOne signals the next stage in the evolution of U.S. Cellular's easyedge wireless data service, powered by QUALCOMM's BREW solution.

The uiOne solution will allow U.S. Cellular to develop and deploy customized phone UIs, helping the operator easily and effectively promote applications to target groups of subscribers. The uiOne offering consists of an open and flexible combination of technologies and services that provide rich, integrated and dynamic user experiences on wireless devices.

The BREW solution drives the discovery and delivery of wireless data services. BREW customers can benefit from several offerings, including: uiOne for rich, integrated and dynamic user experiences with fast access to high revenue services on wireless devices; deliveryOne for differentiated and tightly integrated, operator-managed support and delivery of advanced wireless data content and services; and marketOne for a quick-to-market, hosted, scalable content delivery service that includes media titles, flexible management and monetization, content provider settlement and business intelligence services. QUALCOMM offers this comprehensive set of BREW offerings to meet the distinct needs of companies delivering mobile products and services around the world.
