Sprint Nextel Unliminted Call plan from one number

Sprint Nextel has a new mobile calling offer that allows its wireless customers to make and receive unlimited calls from one designated wireline number. The Sprint to Home plan for consumers costs $5 a month for unlimited calls to and from their cellular phone and a residential land line number, regardless of the local provider. The carrier said it would soon make a similar offer involving long distance to customers who use Sprint for both wireless and landline long distance, but it would be free.

For businesses, Sprint Mobile to Office is available for $8 per month to customers with a monthly wireless plan of $50 or more. Sprint Nextel may claim to be the first national carrier to offer such a service, but two prepaid services allow consumers similar options. Good to see the wireless firms opting for these initiatives, more competition is good for the consumer in this case. Anybody opt fo this feature yet?
