iPass and T-Mobile Euro combine

iPass is partnered with T-Mobile International to use the carrier's European hot-spot network into its global broadband roaming network.

The partnership gives iPass users access to more than 8,000 T-Mobile and T-Com hot spots in Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Austria and the Czech Republic. Hot-spot venues include Starbucks locations and international airports including London Heathrow and Frankfurt, said iPass. T-Com has been working with T-Mobile to develop hot-spot locations.

IPass said the hot spots will undergo certification via its Enterprise Ready certification program to ensure network quality and service availability standards as well as interoperability with policy and security tools.
