TELUS Announces Availability of Nokia 3205i

Nokia and TELUS Mobility announced the national availability of the Nokia 3205i, a wireless phone focused on multimedia messaging and do-it-yourself personalization features for the mobile trendsetter.

Available across Canada exclusively through TELUS Mobility, which has dubbed it The Chameleon, the Nokia 3205i features an integrated camera, large colour screen and Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) capability that takes advantage of TELUS Mobility's picture and video messaging services. This fun phone also adds an innovative new element in mobile personalization: Do-it-yourself cut-out covers.

Like a chameleon, the Nokia 3205i can quickly and easily changes its look. With transparent front and back covers that serve as frames for custom designs, the Nokia 3205i is the ultimate phone for those who want to express their individuality. Clients can even take photos with the phone and combine them as a cutout and on-screen wallpaper to have a single image appear across the entire front and back of the phone.

The Nokia 3205i is a camera and videophone featuring an integrated VGA camera, enhanced picture editor application and the ability to record up to 25 seconds of video with its built-in video recorder. Clients can take advantage of TELUS Mobility's picture and video messaging services to send their photos and videos to colleagues, friends and family.

Other features include polyphonic ringtones, a built-in FM radio, integrated flashlight, infrared connectivity and Java technology. The Nokia 3025i is the first phone in Canada to offer customizable cut-out covers. Three cut-out cover designs, with matching wallpaper and polyphonic ringing tones, are included with the phone, as well as 10 blank covers perforated to fit the phone's keypad. Users can browse for designs online or create and print their own. Post cards available at TELUS Mobility retail outlets will include perforated cut-out covers with the option to order matching wallpaper and ringtones.
