Telus Mobility 3rd Quarter Results

TELUS Corporation reported for the third quarter of 2004 outstanding wireless performance at TELUS Mobility, steady wireline results at TELUS Communications and a significant increase in net income and free cash flow. Operating revenues of $1.9 billion in the quarter increased 8% from a year ago and operating earnings (EBITDA) were up 9%. Reported earnings per share (EPS) for the second quarter were 44 cents, up 38% compared to 32 cents for the same period a year ago. Free cash flow was $503 million during the quarter, a $62 million or 14% improvement from a year ago.
