Virgin Mobile and Nokia launch Nokia 3155i - Video Ringtones

Virgin Mobile and Nokia launched the Nokia 3155i handset, the first mobile phone in Canada to support downloadable Virgin Mobile videotones. Named 'The Groove', this phone gives Canadians the long- awaited opportunity to view video clips that ring and play each time someone calls.

All-new video content, including videotones, videoclips and video screensavers, make 'The Groove' perfect for Virgin Mobile customers who want to express themselves in whole new ways:

Virgin Mobile partnered with m-Qube, a leading mobile channel enabler, to launch these first of their kind videotones, video screensavers and video clips in Canada. The selection is available to download from virginmobile.ca, and range in price from $1.50 to $4.95. 'The Groove' is not just about video. The brushed black Nokia 3155i mobile phone features dual displays, including a large, brilliant 262K colour 128 x 160 pixel primary screen. There is plenty of storage on 'The Groove' with 12MB of user memory for images, downloadable applications, Virgin Mobile Musictones and PDA information. A built-in speakerphone and PC synchronization for PDA information helps users stay organized. Voice dialing, voice commands and voice memos make it easy for even the most social Virgin Mobile customer to stay in touch with friends.
