RedKnee Launched on MTC-Vodafone Kuwait Network

Redknee, the leading global provider of communication software to wireless telecommunication network operators, announced MTC-Vodafone Kuwait launched Redknee's high-performance Synaxis Enhanced Messaging Gateway solution to enable rating and charging of international text messaging and premium SMS content. Using Redknee's solution, MTC-Vodafone now offers roaming, short messaging and premium SMS content to its subscribers.

"This service enables MTC-Vodafone prepaid customers to send text messages while roaming abroad, and to select premium content from our SMS service providers," said MTC Director General Dr Saad Al Barrak. With the Redknee Synaxis Enhanced Messaging Gateway, MTC can provide flexible, subscriber-friendly tariff plans including special time-based promotions and bundles of messages. The EMG provides real-time billing for mobile originated and terminated traffic, premium content charging, advanced barring features, and traffic management capabilities. Today, over 30 million subscribers worldwide use Redknee messaging products.
