Vodafone Release Vodafone 125 and 225

Vodafone released new entry level cell phones: the Vodafone 125 and Vodafone 225. The low cost handsets will hit markets like India or Tanzania, Kenya and Egypt, where Vodafone has introduced mobile financial remittance services, mobile technology has been shown to be able to provide secure and socially beneficial services beyond simple
voice and data services to those who have not access to a bank account.

The Vodafone 125 and Vodafone 225 are also slated to move in emerging markets that are already commonplace in Western Europe. The handsets are likely to retail at around $25-$45 US Dollars (19 -35 euros) depending on the specific model and the local market conditions.

These Vodafone's are the first from China's ZTE . he handsets are almost identical in functionality however the Vodafone 125 has a black and white screen and the Vodafone 225 has a colour screen.
